This week, I sit down with California-based underground rapper Pigeon John whose current sound is a genre-fusing style with positive, easily relatable lyrics. We discuss the early days of rapping on G4TV and growing up in Hawthorne, California. We also dive a bit into his spirituality, chatting about values as a former Christian hip-hop star and an MC who sings more than he raps.
