"Missio" is Latin for mission. And what at one time began as a side project for singer-songwriter Matthew Brue has now shifted into the main mission. Accompanied by producer and instrumentalist David Butler, MISSIO sports an alternative/electronic sound with beat-driven hip-hop undertones. Since they're based in Austin, TX and just dropped a video for their song “Cry Baby (feat. Paul Wall)” I thought it would be great to catch up with the duo to talk about their life, navigating through the year 2020 and their ;atest studio album Can You Feel The Sun, which was released at the end of October and has accrued 17+ MILLION streams across platforms since.
