Up to bat this week is Mutant Academy producer Tuamie who knew he wanted to do something creative with his life from a young age. In episode 15 of the podcast, he shares his music-making journey, how DJ Premier and Pete Rock inspired him, and his plans to release volume after volume (all the way up to vol. 10!) of Emergency Raps, a series he started with Mutant Academy's four core rappers. Opening this episode, I play a sample from his latest tape, where Fly Anakin exclaims he has the best beat selection in the underground.
