Episode description

My guest today is Greg Lapin.

Greg is a former law enforcement officer and government contractor with two decades of experience on SWAT teams, government special operations, and depoying to war zones. He’s a black belt in Jiu Jitsu, the founder of Vida Jiu Jitsu, and currently the head professor of Jiu Jitsu at Field Craft Survival.

We discuss why Greg has always hated bullies, having his dream of joining the military taken from him, serving as a police officer in New Orleans, serving as a SWAT team member and in government contracting capacities, why the state of the American police is not where it needs to be and how to fix it, being in an officer involved shooting, the miraculous power of jiu jitsu, why you should train jiu jitsu, Greg’s advice to you if you’re on the fence about it, and more.

It was an honor to have Greg on the show.
