Saint Lucia of Fatima wrote back to Cardinal Caffarra and Pope John Paul II. In that letter we find written: "The final battle between the Lord and the kingdom of Satan will be about Marriage and the Family. Don't be afraid, she added, because whoever works for the sanctity of Marriage and the Family will always be fought against and opposed in every way, because this is the decisive issue. Then she concluded: nevertheless, Our Lady has already crushed his head."
The true enemy does not care where we worship, as long as we do not worship the Lamb. Satan is out to destroy human life and seeks to rule over individual human hearts and then use them to help him rule in this present culture of death.
The Mid-Term Elections had more to say about our culture and who reigns in the individual human heart, than who is elected to public office.
In 1976, in a speech given in Philadelphia for our nations bicentennial, John Paul II, then Cardinal Karol Wojtyla, spoke these words. "I do not think that wide circles of American society or wide circles of the Christina community realize this fully. We are now facing the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-Church, of the Gospel versus the anti-Gospel."
