Ep. 2 Why should I be small?
Episode description
So why is it that women have such anxiety over controlling and changing the shape of our bodies?
In this episode we discuss the shifting ideal body types in history and address the dangerous and lingering effects they have on our culture.
The ladylike thing to do? Push back against the idea of a single, idealized, beautiful body type. Foster body positivity and embrace diversity. Recover from the disordered eating habits and anxiety that might have become a normal part of your life. You have to love your body as it is in order to care for it in the way that brings about healthy change. You deserve to take up space and to grow and to be anything but “small”.
