Matt has been in law enforcement since 2012, where he has experience as a patrolman, Taser Instructor, Field Training Officer, crisis negotiation team member for SWAT, and a Part-time detective. He is also an active EFT member Before becoming a police officer, he was part of the MA national guard as an infantryman and served in Afghanistan as a machine gunner. In June of last year, Matt was shot at and seriously injured in the line of duty. In this episode, we talk about his story, what happened, and what recovery has looked like for him.
