Yanks Take Two And Then Get Clobbered (Episode 534)
Episode description
This was on it's way to being a very solid sweep against the M's, or even a decent two of three had the Yankees at least lost tonight's game with grace, instead of insulting their fanbase. But in peak modern Yankee form, they did. Domingo German gave up ten runs in three innings while the infield kicked the ball around the diamond (again). The Yankees look like tee-ball toddlers this month. After Fenway, I was humiliated to be a fan of this sewer trash product, but now the second-hand embarrassment is kind of turning into amusement if I'm being honest. We also got some incredible, never-dull, always-exciting-and-accountable interviews from Hal & Cashman this week, as they continue to make (definitely not tone-deaf) comments to the press. Let's chat about this third-place team, shall we?
NYY-NYK-MMA Question of the Day: Darryl Strawberry signed a one-year contract with the Yankees in June of 1995. How many years did he go on to play for the franchise?
