The Gifford Fire has become the second largest wildfire this year

Fire crews are hoping improving weather conditions will help them in making gains on a number of fires burning across the state, including some in Northern California. The week-long search continues in the East Bay for a missing 16-year-old girl. There are some big changes in store for public transit along the highway 101 corridor in the North Bay.
