* Massive and statement wins came on the hardwood this weekend from both the Perth Wildcats over two time reigning champions Sydney and Perth Lynx disposing of title fancies Melbourne Boomers
* It was an extremely disappointing way to finish off such a promising campaign for the Perth Scorchers women losing in a canter in their Challenger Final last Wednesday evening
* The Perth Heat got back in the winners circle after a disappointing winless series last weekend to get a 2-1 win away to Canberra
