The highlights were Collingwood and Geelong on 10 game winning streaks, Adelaide causing a huge upset and throwing Carlton's finals aspirations into disarray whilst the biggest losers of the round Brisbane who capitulated under the Richmond pressure snatched defeat from the jaws of victory
On the WA side of things, Fremantle were extremely disappointing under the Friday night spotlight whilst West Coast gave Gold Coast an almighty threat but fell just short. We also pay tribute to retiring greats Josh Kennedy and David Mundy.
