Michael Shellenberger is the Founder and President of Environmental Progress, a nonprofit pro-nuclear research organisation based in California. He is also and investigative journalists and has run twice for Governor of California as an independent.


A lifelong environmental activist, Shellenberger has criticised climate alarmism for being unscientific, and has advocated for the use of nuclear energy as an efficient and environmentally-friendly energy source. In 2022, his reporting on the "Twitter Files" exposed "blacklisting" of journalists taking place at Twitter prior to Elon Musk's purchase of the platform.
