Barnhardt Podcast #169: Essential and Necessary

In this episode we discuss the coming putative consecration of Russia and Ukraine by someone other than the Vicar of Christ and muse about what will actually happen as a result of that. We also speculated about the upcoming global chastisement which has been foretold many times over the centuries and issued a public service announcement: If you think you are seeing or hearing voices or visions from heaven, go to confession IMMEDIATELY and talk to your confessor! While authentic private revelations have yielded spiritual fruit and devotions they will NEVER contain anything essential for salvation that isn’t already covered in the Deposit of Faith and the perennial teachings of The Church. There is no silver bullet for riding out the end times; it’s going to be difficult but in those difficulties are the opportunities for rapid and massive growth in sanctity and holiness.
