Steven Koonin is a nonresident senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, where he focuses on climate science and energy policies. From 2009 to 2011, Dr. Koonin served as the under secretary for science at the US Department of Energy, where as the chief scientific officer, he coordinated and oversaw research across the department.
