Episode description

In this episode, I delve into the tragic case of Natalie Shotter, a 37-year-old NHS worker and mother of three from west London. On 17 July 2021, after an evening out, Natalie was found deceased on a park bench in Southall Park. The investigation revealed that she had been repeatedly assaulted by Mohamed Iidow, a 35-year-old man who targeted her while she was unconscious. The brutal attack led to Natalie suffering a fatal heart attack. Iidow was subsequently arrested, found guilty of rape and manslaughter, and sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 10 years and 8 months. Join me as I explore the events leading up to this horrific crime, the investigation that brought Iidow to justice, and the profound impact on Natalie's family and community.
