Episode description

'The World's Toughest Row' takes a crew 3000 miles west from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to Nelson's Dockyard in Antigua. It involves constant rowing, waves up to 30 feet high, sleep deprivation, sea-sickness, salt sores and blisters.

Kelly Frost spoke to Intrepid232, an incredible crew of four Jersey mums (Julie Brady, Alison Smithurst, Helene Monpetit and Rosemary Satchwell) who are training to complete the challenge this December.

They talk about the training, the costs, the sponsorship... and what keeps them up at night.
