Complexity, and therefore simplicity, is a conscious choice. Aside from being unnecessarily fancy in your efforts, complexity often comes from a place of rule-setting (because you don’t trust your teams to do the right thing, experiment forward, or generally not screw things up). You can build trust and demonstrate your team’s ability to get results with less complexity by asking three important questions.
