Speaker 1

Pushkin me, that's my favorite. Hi. I'm Eric Vietro. I'm a voice teacher and a vocal coach to some pretty famous and successful artists such as Arianna Grande, John Legend, Sean Mendez, Camila Cabello, Rosalia Chloe. You get the picture. Now. I know they're stars, but to me, they're my students and they're my friends, and I really love them because they're like my family. I'm always getting asked what are their lives really like? How much do they have to train?

And really how much do they have to practice to sing their best well. In my new podcast from Pushkin Backstage Pass with Eric Vietro, you'll get to find out. I'm inviting you into my music studio to hear how these artists prepare both mentally and physically to reach their full potential. You'll hear Shawn Mendez tell this story about the first song he ever performed for his family. Pretty sure. My mom was crying and everyone was crying, and I

was like wow. John Legend analyzes aspects of his favorite falsetto singers. I think Prince is obviously one of him, and his is a little like funky. I just won't you time, he would do a little more cry in his voice, a little more like shriek, and it's a little more like dangerous sounding. You'll hear Ariana Grande explain one reason she works so hard. I always had a very, very, very picky, sensitive ear, and it's kind of made me

into a perfectionist. And backstage pass, I'll talk to stars about their singing process, their careers, and how they balance it all in their day to day life. Maybe maybe, but the truth is, building a really big career is not always easy. And backstage Pass you'll hear conversations about the challenges these singers have faced when they were just starting out. It was so complicated for me to let them know that I was really really serious about this.

You know that I really wanted to be a musician and just to leave making music, you know what. Let me just be out there and be me, Let me just keep it simple, let me be completely and unapologetically myself. And that's what I wanted to do, and that was I think one of the hardest performances I had to do to get the ultimate behind the scenes experience.
