Episode 271: Mom Arrested for Helping Daughter Abort Pregnancy

Jessica Burgess of Nebraska, pleaded guilty to giving her 17 year old daughter a pill to medically terminate her pregnancy at 24 weeks. Nebraska has limited Abortion procedures to 20 weeks in the Post-Roe Era.

What particularly disturbed me about this case is the prosecution using very charged and harsh language to chastise the defense over an action that just one year ago was perfectly legal and standard.
