Episode 218: AI is an Existential Threat

Artificial Intelligence is perhaps the leading threat against Humanities Existence. While many will say that, in fact, Climate Change or Nuclear War are bigger threats, they do not take into account the key difference with AI.

Artificial Intelligence seeks to become Human by stripping away Humans of our Humanity. AI can replicate Human emotions, creativity, passion, intellect, and ambition.

While Nuclear Bombs and Climate disaster can eliminate or hold back human progress, Artificial Intelligence can destroy the very concept of what it means to be Human, making us nothing but animals trapped in an open air prison.
