Episode 147: The Great Resignation
Episode description
I cover the social effects of the great resignation and what this means for the Labor Movement. October marks what the AFL-CIO appropriately calls "Striketober". Over 169 strikes have taken place this month across all American industries. We also see a record number of first responders, medical workers, and other working class people leaving their jobs in protest of the vaccine mandate. I discuss how this in particular is an advancement in the labor struggle, even if the reasoning is not agreeable.
