Back To The Blockbuster is celebrating its two year anniversary and the team is ringing in the milestone by revisiting two films that each of the co-hosts once disliked. In one corner, Gaius didn’t care for the 2017 film Mother!, when he first saw the film in theaters. Directed and written by Darren Aronofsky, the film stars Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Ed Harris, Michelle Pfeiffer, Domhnall Gleeson, Brian Gleeson, and Kirsten Wiig. In the film, a young woman finds her tranquil life with her husband at their country home is disrupted by the arrival of a mysterious couple. In the other corner is Jackson, who didn’t care for the 2019 film, Us. Directed and written by Jordan Peele, the film stars Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Elisabeth Moss, Shahadi Wright Joseph, and Evan Alex. In the film, a woman and her family are attacked by a group of menacing doppelgängers. Will their minds change all these years later on their respective films?
