MOTHERHOOD CONFESSIONS: Navigating joint custody after divorce

This week's mum gave birth to her two girls at the age of 36 and 38. She didn't plan either pregnancy but took the role of becoming a mother very seriously and loves being a mum. 

This Mum made the tough decision to leave her husband after being treated poorly, knowing this would sadly mean she wouldn't see her daughters for 50% of the time. 

She chats to us about the challenges of bringing up two teenage girls in a shared care situation, especially when your ex partner has a different parenting style. We discuss introducing a new partner to her daughters, and what advice she has to other parents who may be going through a separation or divorce.
