124. All About VBACs! With OB Dr Lionel Steinberg

In this week's episode we're chatting all about VBACs! A VBAC is a Vaginal Birth After Caesarean, and we have the incredible Doctor Lionel Steinberg on with us who is a Melbourne OB and Gynaecologist.

Dr Lionel has delivered over 15,000 babies and provides women-centred care, facilitating birth options that the mother desires. Dr Lionel is well known for delivering VBAC births, natural breech babies and twins vaginally. 

In this episode Dr Lionel tells us what a VBAC is, who would be eligible, the pros and cons, the risks involved, and what you can do to prepare for a vaginal birth after caesarean. We also chat about the controversial topic of why c section births have become so common in Australia.
