Recently I realized that I have done a lot of growing even though it doesn't seem like it when I let my past creep into my future. We all have a past, and it is a part of us. We can't change where we came from or what our experiences have been, but we can change how we let them define us.
We all have a story and it is up to us to continue to have hard conversations, learn from our mistakes, and attempt every day to become a better version of ourselves.
