Episode description

Welcome to Episode 65.1! Dalton & Sam are talking about the Final Four on both sides, women & men! WBB The gents talk about the ONE team who reached the Final Four, the Iowa Hawkeyes! Led by Caitlin Clark's 40+ point triple-double, the Hawkeyes advance to Dallas to take on the number one, overall, seed, South Carolina in a heavy-weight battle! How about Maryland and their battle against the Gamecocks? Ohio St, after their HUGE win over UCONN, fall to Virginia Tech in the Elite Eight! MBB No B1G teams advanced past the Sweet 16, but the guys are talking about the Final Four and the conference's struggle to get to the tournament's final weekend in recent years! With such an "odd" tournament, how do we assess the B1G and their "success" or lack thereof? Sam gets asked about Purdue and how he delineates how this season was as a fan of the Boilermakers. NEW NAME! Since the conference is expanding out to 16 teams, next July, we have decided to change our name! We talk about the move to B1G Talk, starting immediately. For the final topic, Dalton wanted to address some comments from a local (East Lansing) reporter, saying Michigan St. coach, Tom Izzo, missed his best chance for winning the national title, this year! The guys address that, and #HEADLINES will return on Friday!
