EP21 | Your own portfolio platform matters

Recently Instagram, Facebook and Whatsapp were done, what a nightmare in the creative space, thinking of all those automated posts that were not sent out during the 5/6 hour outage. Were you affected by the blackout? I was not aware the platform had a blackout so I went on twitter to check what is happening, twitter is always in the know and rightly so it was all over twitter that Mark shut us all down. lol. This tells me that as a photographer or creative, you should really house your content somewhere else were you have control of your platform. Having your own website is critical and in fact it is recommended, I do not have one now because I chose to open a portfolio with Color Space where I am able to control and monetise my photos. How is the mic quality this time? I changed mics hoping for better sound. Your feedback will be appreciated.
