Hello, and welcome to the seventh episode of a Georgia Tech talk. I decided to do another episode on easy 204 in the last episode. I give you an overview. What is easy to 0-4? What are different? Kind types of topics it will cover. So today I'm going to go into those topics in. Detail. So probably you will have a better understanding what those topics are. So without wasting much time, let's go.

So last time I talked to you about, like that would be a topic related to create server list application. So in the Civil List, application, is going to ask you about what is like logic apps. What is show functions? What are the different type of triggers initial and economic home? More in depth about what is inbound bounding? What is about? I'm sorry, what is input binding? And bodies output binding. Then I will talk you through

some durable functions. What are the cause of the function, how you can develop and test these work? Sure. Now, what your functions are being able even driven computer on demand systems that can be tricky. My radius external events but one of the example is given on the job website. So what what do you mean by civilized? SS means lot, you don't need to care about your infrastructure, you just develop choose your own language and create application.

The world deploy own to issue then is your will take care of your infrastructure as code and platform as well. So you don't need to worry about your underlying into infrastructure. You just spin up your app in the your and that will take care of it. The two common things are logic apps and is your functions. Moving on to the next. Next one is like how you connect

these Services together. For example, if you have a function running talking to app service, for example, you have something running in that service or any other function, how you want to make them communicate, maybe you can think of some architectural like messaging services. Like for example, service pose or storage queues.

So one of the module in the easy 204 discover about like how you can make your Loosely coupled applications are you can connect different to services using some messaging services and now this covers about line is your cure stay Rich. What is your view storage? How what are the limitation on is? What is the SDK to develop it? And then it talks about event helps as well. So disposed, I and event grades as well. So remember, our events have can take like millions of detail per

seconds. You can stream data to events hoop. You can utilize event helps like if you have getting lots of data in milliseconds, you can also utilize even great if you want to be notified about certain events which is triggered by some application. And you can I can also go into much detail and read and do a Hands-On session on these ones. The next important topic, it's going to cover is about the issue storage.

It's it's probably go towards blob storage customers DB SQL database, how you can create a storage account, how can you can secure us storage account? So, it does cover all these kind of Things in this module, there are 1, it talks about like how you can deploy your apps or your applications to Virtual machines or how you can spin up a virtual machine.

What is virtual machine and how you can create a linux-based virtual machine, it does explain you why you can create a Windows based as well and how you can run some applications. You On these machines, how you can install extensions, how you can run some publishing commands, how you can install, your is server so different things. It talks about in the virtual machines section moving next to is like how you want to manage your resources in Azure.

It means like utilizing your Powershell skills your CLI skills. Your geoportal skills. How you can manage those resources. It does talk about a little bit about cost how you can manage

those costs as well. And like like like a continuous kind of process, like if you want to spin up a VM again and again, rather than doing through the portal, how you can utilize publisher, or CLI commands to do in a repeatable fashion to create this thing set of machines, it does focus a little bit on the cost side, not a very big section covered on this for size, then it also Ox, you about the resource managers, how you can create resource manager templates, which are arm

templates, and then it also takes you to the resources and Resource Group. What is the relationship between the resources and Resource Group? Although Resource Group is a logical representation of logical grouping of your resources.

So it does poke you about that one moving next like it takes you into your Absolutely. This plant are you can create an app service, how you can create a web app, how you can host a web application in the app Services plan, how you can publish a web app to app Services? What are the different deployment models? What is, what is the slot base deployment and how you can scale

your web app to meet the demand. So for example, App is running on, let's say two servers and how you automatically scale e24 servers. So, similarly, it talks about like how you can scale your app service plans in up your web apps into multiple instance. If if demand is gone up or down, how you can decrease it and how you can deploy your containerized application. Remember app Services.

Now, sport your container. In you can utilize is your Registries to push your images from your machine to your assure, Registries where your container. You images are stored. You can pull those images directly from your Registries into your app service is to deploy the database. The application thread directly to app service plan. So that's, that's really a good one, where it covers about that one. And lastly, It does take you through the security principles.

What are different security Center? How you can monitor your security, like what are the best practices? Like, for example, if you want to store connection strings or some sensitive data, you should go for a joke, Ewald, it does give you a little bit to her about what is your security Center, how you can utilize it to secure your resources, what are the things you need to consider before you can push to your Production, what are the policies around data? What kind of data should you a

key? What sensitive data, you should mask it and what you should not and also how you can secure your storage accounts and what is role-based access control, which is very famous you in the, your place which is called are back. Role-based access control, how you can utilize that one to secure your different resource Is individual. It does talk to you about the sequel databases. So overall it's the mixture of all those your things which you can see that. I like SQL databases.

Your customers data based is your container applications, your security, your blob storage your messaging service, your server, less your infrastructure, as code your power shell, your CLI, your vm's. So, and and last Ali your cost as well. So a discover a lot of things by doing this certification, you will have a very good understanding of visual. You should be able to develop apps for your. You should be able to develop energy or by utilizing different

services in a show. And you should be capable of creating architecture diagrams for creating design out of the requirements. And And creating those software's for, for, for your customer. So I would definitely recommend you to go through the Microsoft easy 204 part which is available on the docks dot microsoft.com website. I will post the link again into this description so I think that's from my sight. I'll see you in the next episode. Bye.
