Hello, and welcome to the second episode of the show Tech talk. I'm your host job in the last episode. I just talked about a little bit. What is it? Joe are, you can learn about your from basic to advanced level. So, in this episode, I will be covering a little bit about a Joe. What is it? And why? You, you should go and learn about this one. It's a very tacky tomb. It's a very used nowadays, one thing which is cloud.

Although Google Amazon and Microsoft, these are the three big giants providing services in Cloud. Microsoft is one of the leading cloud provider. And they named their cloud services as issue. So think of is your what is your or texting of cloud for this cloud? So you don't need to worry about your servers. You don't need to worry about

where your application runs. So what you do is just go buy a service on a pay-as-you-go plan and you just spin up your software's on it. What used to happen in a look. In usual times it's like if in order to set up your private servers in order to set up your private applications, you need to buy a server, put it on the net folk, configure it install, all the software, which is required, to run your application, and then finally deploy and run your application.

This requires a lot of time so that is upfront. Cost in it. You need to buy something first. A hard way. Then you need to configure it. You need to install some software on it then you will deploy your application. The whole process can take Few days to a few weeks depending upon like, what are your requirements? Are So, imagine like if you need another machine of the same size, same processing power,

then it will take you another few days. you can reduce the flow, you can reduce some days by putting some Automation, maybe, for example, initially you took about like 10 days to spin up on machine maybe the second time or will take you five five days if you put some automation like for example you build some images and when you buy the new machine, you just deployed that image. It will automatically configure

for you. Still you need to pay the cost for the machine still you need to bring it in-house till you need to configure it on the network and still you need to make sure line By the software gets deployed, the configuration is correct. Still, there is a car on the other hand, what if like this, make it easier for you, you don't need to go in a market to buy a machine. You don't need to configure yourself in other words, like

what is it? Like, if you just dictate what your requirements are, similarly, you could say, like, I want to build Windows Server 2016. And I need x amount of RAM, for example, 8 GB. I'm out a required, these many processes. I want to have these software is pre-installed with you could do is like you go to any cloud provider. So like in this example, functions of the issue, you go them. You asked for the server and within few minutes it's available to you now.

The good thing is it's like you're not paying all the time for that resource so If your requirements are for a few days you just use that service for a few days and then leave it out, destroy it. Don't need to pay anything for it. So that's the biggest Advantage. Slide Pas you go you use the service for couple of hours couple of days couple of months and after you don't need it, you just destroy that one and then you are good to go.

So that's what's the concept of visual and what that's what's the concept of cloud, you do not being upfront. Anything, you just going in the market and you just doing it. Like I want to buy something but, you know, you're not buying anything. You're just paying the paying your rent to one of the service, which you use. So what do you get out of it? So, the thing is, like, you can get like three four by seven customer Sports. You can expect Microsoft take cares of your machine in a very

highly secure place. The encrypt all the in and out traffic, then Sherlock, your machine is up 99.9%. The give you these SLS and you could have like, disaster recovery. You as well. For example, in if what data centers goes down, you can switch over to another data centers. So, there are a couple of options you can take, actually, to make your application with resilient to these these kind of issues. So, how does how does it get

interesting? Well, imagine yourself like, you want to build A simple application of web app and it could be written in any any language. Any PHP Java, any front-end framework, maybe dotnet call and you develop your application. Now what you need to do next is like you want to deploy that application so you can run it, okay? You build it on your machine, it works fine. But what about the end user? How you want to show to them? How they can use your website.

So there are options there. You can buy a server if we create hosted there and make it enable for your outer world, you can go to hosting Plans by hosting domain and then spin it up there. But there are still problems involved here like with the first one. You still need to buy a machine. Configure it, you do all the

hard work and then you deployed. But the hosting is like you get like a limited amount of space, limited amount of processing power or sometimes you have to be up front or maybe you want to spend some additional services in the future and then you maybe you're hosting, doesn't provide that kind of capability but still on the hosting you still need to configure your

application there. So if you go to cloud provider, let's say, for example, as usual, so you tell them, this is my application and that's it, they will configure everything for you. So they have a service for it, which is called app services. So you go and deploy your application into app services. And you tell it, my application uses Java PHP or.net code and you tell them, Vision fit what it is. It automatically creates that environment for you. So you're ready to deploy on to

that. Simple, when then couple of minutes, you're up and running. So that's another example you can take like, how it's easy to actually use this Cloud providers and solve some real-world problems. So the thing is like if you wanted to come into a cloud World wanting to learn more about usual, there are plenty of resources available. There are plenty of online training available stock meditations. Maybe some trainings which you can take. Also to actually learn more about this issue.

The thing you need to understand before you step in is do you, how do you, how do you want to learn these things? And what's your best preferences like myself? I like a lots of readings. Why comfortable sitting in front of the computer and doing putting some documentation? Because this give me some ability to actually do some practice as well? And I have Full flexibility on my personal routine. I can I can spend some time whenever I want in the daytime or maybe in the evening or maybe

in the night. So you need to choose yourself. First, first line, which one is preferable for you, is a live view training. So how do you trainings or documentation or you physically want to attend a training session somewhere you want to pay? A or you're willing to go for a free resources. So that's the decision you need to make. But there are plenty of things you can find over the internet. I would personally recommend using Microsoft visual learning.

They have a full path to find their how you can get started with different parts. Like, for example, if you're new to you, as your your mid-level or you want to go into the advanced level, No. There are lots of options there and they are configured so it teaches you exactly what you're looking for. So it doesn't mix and match with the advanced tag. If you are basic one, then it will teach you the basic one. If you're middle one it will

teach you the middle one. So that's very good thing about Microsoft is your learning paths, teach you, according to your capabilities, according to Europe. Experience. So, What I will do, I advise you is? Go check out Microsoft as you're learning, explore for yourself. Check for some basic learning sections there, for example, what is issue, or maybe watch a YouTube video on a, on a show. So this will give you some

understanding. What is your ways are you getting it into learning more about issue? This is I think best to start with is to start exploring yourself. Probably you can find a lot of material on the internet. What other tips I can give you is, is is is when you start learning these things, you need to be focused. Make sure you pay full attention to what you are learning because these are very cool concept.

Because when you starting for the first time, you need to pay very close attention to these materials. So you understand the basic concept of cloud computing. If You don't understand it. Then it may become difficult for you. In other words, Try watching some YouTube video. First, maybe some visual things may explain. You better than you can jump onto documentation. I will be continuing these kind of podcast in my next episode, I will be covering some basic

concepts about a show. What is platform as a service which is infrastructure as a service where it is, It has a service. So I will be going through the space to give you more explanation about what is this? Will give you some basis of it and we'll give you more understanding. What is a Jordan? What are three different types of services? Available to you as a customer? Tell them goodbye.
