And welcome to my podcast as Your Tech Talk. Today. The podcast only focuses on easy one of four exams and I will be covering around how to pass the exam and what training courses you have to go through to get yourself prepared for easy one of four. The way I started my AZ one O 4 is about like 2 months ago. This journey and what I did it is like I started with Azure learning. Azure learning is a very good platform which provides you very good structured learning for

your any kind of certification. So for AZ 1 of it covers everything from virtual machines, your networking, your identity management, your money trained, your as your backup, your containers, your app Service plan, everything. It covers very well. It does have like a lapse available to you, which is called sandbox accounts to which you can do the training and you can always go for a free PSU account if you sign up for a new AC Azure account.

So these are the things which it can easily provide you total. First of all, go through that Azure learning part, try to read, try to understand that's really important for passing ACU point O 4. If you haven't read it, just go and and do this thing as a first go. Then after that, what you could do that you can go on to video

kind of learning. So Microsoft Azure now provides on demand learning as well, which is like a recorded session for different kind of certification for and these are not very kind of like long or time consuming kind of videos.

They are small, 15 minutes, 20 minutes or 30 minutes, something like that which covers wide variety of topics, for example, networking, monitoring and other things which are required in easy one O 4. So go through that video that gives you a very good understanding because that the trainer is actually doing the practical work along with telling you exactly what easy one of his. What are the different things you're going to be covering in

that? Once you prepare that video or you have gone through that video, then I would recommend you go to any other learning site. So I've used Pluralsight along with this one. Now why have said like go to Pluralsight? Because the reason is like Pluralsight goes into much details and they have a certified trainers technically very sound and they can give you very industry real life kind of experience from those kind of videos and labs.

So Microsoft learned on demand videos can cover you, does cover you in through all kind of services which you're going to be learning through is your 104. But as compared to Chloroside, they might not have that much kind of a real problem life like kind of structure, which can enable you to actually understand how it will show to side does give you this kind of thing in even if you don't have a pluralside, for example, then you can always go to Udemy. And if you Udemy does offer you

a similar kind of thing. But my recommendation is pluricide. It's in case like if you want to be fully prepared that that gives you a very good kind of understanding, like starting from the Azure learning part, then going into on demand videos from Microsoft Learning and then going into the plural side down. The three different kind of sources will actually Polish your concepts around the different areas which you're going to be covering in the AZ

One O 4 exam. I find it really helpful because you can why to compare what you maybe have not understood properly in in in the earlier two-part could be understood in the last part. So this is how you can balance this between your learning activities. Labs are remote important. I'll definitely recommend you to do the labs. If you're not interested in following the labs which are available in the exam in the plural side or in the Azure learning, I will recommend you

to set up your Azure account. So this way you could easily able to do something kind of experiment for yourself. Doing practically is important. Make sure you understand what is your portal is you can able able to navigate. Remember the menus from the high level point of view where this diagnostic settings available, that is your budget is available from the in terms of managing your cost, how do you set up the loads? How do you set up the action

groups? So you should know the navigation of how you can manage it, navigate it through the your portal. Once you understood all those kind of things, then you can go ahead and do your exam now not the real exam, the MOC exam. So Microsoft does have a MOC exam available on their website. You can do that one. Try to aim for 80% what they said.

And I think that's that's really from that point of view, because if you was always aiming for 60 or 70%, that's that's means like you have a less likely chance of getting through there. AZ one O 4. I would recommend you to all the same for above 80%. Now Pluralside has like 3-4 different exams, mock exams available through their partner website which is called Cloud Group which comes as free.

So you can go to Cloud Guru through Pluralside if you have a subscription, you can go there and then you can do some kind of like 4 different kinds of exam then case study based exams as well to help you prepare for the field exam. So these are different kind of tactics, strategies you can apply to actually pay for easy one of four. Most of the things you need to do that is like practical is important. Understanding the concept is

important. And the key thing is like, for example, I'll give you one example is like if you want to create a backup policy, what is required forced? Definitely your backup key vault is required. And if you don't have a backup key vault, you won't be able to

backup. This is this is a kind of information is required to actually to make your understanding better than another example is like whenever you are setting up your accounts in Azure Entra, what is the most important thing is required over still, you will require your e-mail first name, last rain. But the location is important because it understands from the interrupt point of view, like where your user is actually going to be based in and how to

apply the licensing cost list. So these are the key things which you should be remembering as an example when you're going for easy one O 4 exam. Other than that, I think it just practice more and just going through those topics again and again. It's it's important. One thing where what they have done is good is like they have introduced Azure learning into the exam as well into the real exam. So make sure you know how to navigate through Azure Learn, right?

So for example, if you want to find out something about app Service plan, container services, VMS, storage accounts, identity services, networking, Vnet subnet, you should know how to find those articles on Azure Learn. So how it's going to help you out. It's like during the exam, you have access to Azure Learn, which means like you can go to Azure Learn with the examination tab and you should be able to access those kind of articles.

Now my recommendation condition is don't heavily rely on looking for your answers into Azure Learn because Azure Learn will only provide you with the reference right? So for example, if you have some miss conception or confusion about something within the your question, you can always refer to it. Because when you are referring to your learning, your time doesn't stop there, it continues

to load. So aim for the better preparation for yourself and only go to Azure learning when you think like you have enough time and you want to refer your questions back to Azure Learning to just revalidate your answers. Other than that, you make sure like you spend full time even you know the answers very well. Try to stay there as long as

possible. It just give you much more kind of flexibility in terms of like even if you have to go back and reflect your answers which you have done it ensure like the answer which you don't know very well. Mark it as a review so you can review it at the end of it. There are some study questions comes in the 1st and in the end so you are not able to go back to them. So make sure like you answer them very well and then then move on to rest of your MCQ questions.

Preparation is not that much difficult if you know the basics of Azure that you just need to track on with easy open for the full learning part in Azure Learning and then move on to your videos on demand. And if you have access to Pluralside, I would recommend you go there. If you don't have it Pluralside. That's why neither though. But I find it really helpful from preparing from the three different kind of sources just to give me much more better

understanding. So maybe if I missed it first part or second part, I can always go to refer to the third part. So that's how you can get yourself prepared better for Easy 104. I hope like you find this information valuable. But at the end, I would say that just be focused on your learning and I hope like you to pass your easy one of four Excel. So thank you very much and good luck with your preparation.
