Episode description

In this episode, Dr. Vignesh Devraj is sharing the live recording of the Ayurvedic Healing and Beyond Sunday Webinar on The Healing Benefits of Pranayama.

In Ayurveda, the highest form of Vata is Prana - the life force that runs through all living beings. The only way we can connect with our Prana quickly is through our breath. When we regulate our breathing, our Prana will go high. Though breathing is a default mechanism, our external stressors interfere with our breathing capabilities and we often miss out on a good breath. This webinar explains how breathing is interconnected with physical and mental capabilities, and how we can use Pranayama to regulate ourselves.

The topics discussed in this webinar are :

  1. Understanding Pranayama beyond breathwork
  2. The significance of Vata in our body, and its connection to Pranayama
  3. Understanding and improving our respiratory system
  4. The connection between breathing practises and spirituality
  5. Practising Pranayama for mind, body and soul
