Jawan is Atlee's first collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan. Atlee's films are big on father-son themes and this film is no different. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the film. I forgot there exists a world outside. When Shah Rukh is on screen, I can't take my eyes off him. When there are two Shah Rukh's on screen, I can't focus on anything else. From Bees Saal Baad (Beqaraar Song), to Matrix, to Swades, to Shree 420 (Ramaiya Vastavaiya Song), to The Lion King, to Khal Nayak, to Baahubali, Jawan references a whole lot of popular films.
