Episode description

Hey everyone, welcome back to the podcast. My guest today is Lloyd Kempson. He's an athlete, running coach, broadcaster, and an entrepreneur.

As you might expect, today's conversation centres around running and how to get better at it. Lloyd shares with me his top three tips on how to become a better runner, why there is no such thing as the perfect running form, fueling protocols for training and on race day, when to incorporate cross-training, which machines or methods are best, exactly how many miles you should be running to prepare for a marathon, and whether or not it's realistic to run a marathon at your 5K pace.

Additionally, Lloyd shares his approach to nutrition and supplementation and we delve into Lloyd's professional work and the multitude of projects he's involved in. Lloyd also opens up about his recent diagnosis with ADHD and depression.

There is a lot to take from this episode, whether or not you are a serious runner, Hyrox athlete, or just wanting to get better at running or get started running, this is an amazing resource. I am extremely grateful for the time that Lloyd gave me to talk through all of his years of experience. If you were to engage someone like Lloyd's services, it would cost you a lot of money. So please take notes and enjoy my conversation with Lloyd Kempson.
