Dave is a police officer helping to support a wife and three children. Right now he has access to a 457 and a pension through his employer. In addition to these employee sponsored options, he can also take advantage of a Roth IRA or Taxable brokerage account. Dave wants to know if he should first being focusing on his 457 or his Roth IRA. In this episode we will talk about whether we should be contributing to the Roth first or the 401k/457.
