What would you do if your mom suffered a stroke during Covid, while 1600 miles away in a region that had subpar medical facilities and care? You would do anything and everything. Daisy Vazquez did just that.  Facing language barriers, inadequate medical assistance, no transportation, she somehow managed to bring her mom home to New York City.  She did not break under pressure.
