This week, we are joined by Johanna Staubitz, also known as Joey, who is an assistant professor of the practice in Vanderbilt University's Department of Special Education. Joey's experience as a former special education teacher and school-based behavior analyst guides her approach to practitioner preparation and scientific inquiry. She's also a researcher who focuses on adapting and evaluating intervention procedures to support the social, emotional, and academic skills of children with emotional and behavioral disorders in special education settings.
