Episode description

Mike Rigby is Vice President and Executive Creative Director at R/GA. We know Mike from his time in Australia working as Creative Director at Interbrand and although he’s always been on our list of people to talk to on the show, the timing never worked out. So when we found out Mike would be at Adobe Max when we were, we jumped at the chance to make it finally happen. This episode could’ve gone in many different directions because when you talk Mike, you quickly realise he has a vast depth of knowledge when it comes to not only design but explaining and thinking about design. A master communicator, Mike can make the complex simple and the impossible seem possible. We spoke about his time at University which Mike credits to teaching him how to think and The Chase where he learned how to design. How mike fell in love with design and what it can do, his time in the UK, Australia and a few selected projects happening at R/GA. Big thanks as always to our friends at Streamtime who help make our episodes possible. streamtime.net 🤘 This is the last episode in a series recorded at #AdobeMAX co-supported by Adobe and HP, big thanks to them for getting us to LA as an #adobepartner! 🙌 Mike twitter.com/mikerigby mike-rigby.com/About-Mike-Rigby instagram.com/mikerigby Connected brands | TNW Conference 2018 youtube.com/watch?v=X_KOIt3TbPs Mike speaking to the legendary Debbie Millman https://soundcloud.com/designmatters/design-matters-with-debbie-millman-mike-rigby
