An undoubted great of Australian sport, a legend of Australian basketball, a man who burst onto the scene locally in the 90’s and then took his explosive style literally to the world’s best – right up in their face – he is Shane ‘The Hammer’ Heal. In this wonderful chat, the four-time Olympian discusses his formative years in the game the inspiration that is his late father, famously taking it to Charles Barkley, dealing with NBA bullies and the high and lows from his time at the very top of the game of basketball.
