The King is coming, His return marks the end of all suffering and the endless reign of prosperity and life for the kingdom. We long for the King in the now and the not yet.
Let the nations be glad! Looking at Psalms, Christians praising, and songs throughout the years that draw our hearts' affection to God and the story of true Joy when I see the greatness of God.
The world rejoices over what these days? We are but a wounded world groaning over our pains that the poison we have drunk would just cure us instead. The wounded world longs for the joy that comes when the healer restores minds, hearts, and souls back to God.
Knowing the love of God means knowing Jesus from the Word and not our versions of Jesus. Knowing the Love of God by knowing Jesus' sacrifice and victory means you know how to love other people as He does; until then, we do not know love, we know something else.
Fake love has been sold and bought for all our lives and we need to taste the real, biblical love for our lives and our starving hearts. All you need is love, but love from whom?
What is love? How does our definition of love differ from biblical love? But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
What are different ways we misunderstand peace? What are some of the wrong ways of getting fake peace? Careful peace is not self-serving, self-promoting, or self-centering; God is the only one who can bring peace to the unsettled soul.
The Christian hope is a rebellion against the world/darkness that a single candle flickers hope of the words of resurrected man’s return. What does it mean to be in an active rebellion in culturally boiled Christianity? How do we live and think when people are eating each other alive with their desires?
Looking back to see the future hope. Look back to have hope, Old Testament to Christ, Christ to future things. What God did and what he will do, with expectation in this season of advent.
