He moved to Georgia after years on the investment committee of one of the most successful VCs in education, Learn Capital in San Mateo, California.

He has helped lead investments into Coursera, Minerva, AltSchool, Andela, and many others.  Fittingly, he began his decade-long entrepreneurial journey in the classroom, teaching social studies to high school students in Houston, TX.
