In 1732, Benjamin Franklin printed the first edition of Poor Richard's Almanac. A periodic newsletter that reached tens of thousands of people throughout the colonies.
But Franklin had a secret mission. Sprinkled throughout the news, current events and weather reports, were virtues, lessons and tips on how to get wealthy.
