We interview Jamie Love, the Executive Director of both Sex Positive Portland ( SPP) of the Sex Positive World (SPW) non-profit organizations. She is based out of Portland, and supports local communities all over the world. It is her mission to help empower people to find their "yes", and say "no" with confidence to what they don't want. Even more than that, to have good communication in all types of relationships (including polyamory and power exchange). SP World and its local chapters are dedicated to intersectional inclusion of people from all walks of life, and provides education on how to set boundaries, explore touch, have clear communication, and in particular, around the taboo and intimate subjects of life. There are classes, training, and group discussions around sex and how to navigate the complex waters of feelings. Giving words to demystify, untangle and heal the most vulnerable part of us.
