Speaker 1

It's time for Astrology Coach with Natasha Weber for the week beginning April seventeen. Stick around for your unique tarot card reading. But first, what do the planets have in store for you this week?

Speaker 2

There's a special celestial event this Thursday, when the new moon in areas coincides with a solar eclipse. This means that the Sun and the moon occupy the same spot in the zodiac and that only happens about twice a year from Earth. You'll be able to see this from most places in Australia, but it's especially impressive on the Northwest coast, and don't forget to where eye protection if you want to get a good look. But most importantly, what does this solar eclipse mean from an astrologic core

perspective and how will it affect you? Well, firstly, it's in the very tail end of arees, so something is wrapping up and coming to a close at the same time. Solar eclipses often bring about a radical new beginning, so this is about putting an end to one thing and starting something else. This process might feel like going into battle. Aries is the warrior sign. After all, you'll feel compelled to fight for your rights, your beliefs, to uphold your values,

or something close to your heart. Even if you are the fighting type, you might come up against some friction in the face of these astro headwinds. That's because this eclips's planetary ruler is Mars, which is currently transiting through conflict avoidant cancer. So you could feel torn between staying safely tucked away in what and who feels familiar, easy and non confrontational. And this experience could also apply to relationships.

It might feel like a war within you, where you're split between wanting more for yourself but at the same time craving safety and certainty. And because of the Taurus North nodes close ties with this eclipse, you could be fighting to maintain your standard of living or battling to improve it. You may also question what's truly important to you and if you're looking to move up in the world, do you have to let go of something in order to do that. These feelings will only intensify over the

next month as Taurus enters the picture. In fact, four hours after the solar eclipse peaks, the sun waves goodbye to combative areas to enter Taurus, the sign of values, priorities and possessions. You're about to be shown where you need to break free. Because this eclipse insists on propelling you forward.
