Episode description

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is basically an ugly text file called an XML file. This is what your computer’s RSS reader looks for to find real-time updates. That might sound confusing, but it’s simple and really helpful. Rather than scratching around for the latest content, RSS feeds it directly to you, which saves you time and sieves out the content you’re not looking for.

Key Points From This Episode:

  • RSS stands for: Really Simple Syndication.
  • Your computer uses RSS readers to check XML files.
  • RSS feed helps you find the latest release of podcast shows so you don’t have to.
