The Incarnation

Pastor Jesse shared with us the message of "The Incarnation." Although the word incarnation does not appear in the Bible; incarnate is a Latin word that means "enflesh." So the incarnation is the enfleshness of God. The Incarnation and the atonement cannot be separated. One speaks of Jesus' birth (the cradle), and the other speaks of his death (the cross). The incarnation is a pledge of the atonement. Jesus did not come not to live, but to die, not for himself but for His children. The Promise of the Incarnation.
