338: Trading Cryptocurrency For A Living With John Omar

Today's episode is with John Omar. He has been actively trading cryptocurrency since the summer of 2016. At first, he started because he wanted a way to make money while he travels the world. Once he dove into trading, he enjoyed it so much that he started writing about it. He describes himself as someone who is allergic to office work. According to him, a 9-5 job, no matter how well paid or how ‘challenging’, isn’t something he could be happy with. Working for a company like Facebook or some giant law firm might seem secure, but the idea terrifies him.
What’s secure about not living life on your terms? That’s not to say that he is lazy. He works intensely hard to realize his own ideas. Trading cryptocurrency is the latest way he generates income so he can live life his way. Before that, he started a company called Bitfountain that taught over 100,000 students how to code
