Episode description

Have you ever wanted to visit the "stool capital of the world"??? If so, join Heyd and Erin as they discuss this epic saga of Waiting for Guffman with artist Cody Ledvina, who is drawn to this mockumentary format with a satirical edge that created classics such as the Missouri compromise...of whatever Corky's haircut is! This "big fish in a small pond" story allows director/actor Christopher Guest to fabricate the delicious tale of a small town theater director who is tasked with recounting the town's history via a musical production, including alien abductions with quintessential probing. We have reserved a front row ticket for you as we giggle our way through this quest for fame and noterietay in the Americana hellscape we call home.

Tangents: city council meetings, Total Recall, Matthew McConaughey, gay face, Rand Paul, work families, artist cemetery
