Ep. 106: Curator Sarah Loyer "Keith Haring: Art Is for Everybody"

A conversation with Sarah Loyer, Curator and Exhibitions Manager at The Broad in Los Angeles about the first retrospective of Keith Haring work on the west coast. “Keith Haring: Art Is for Everybody” assembles a collection of Haring’s most iconic and meaningful work while helping recreate the ‘80s atmosphere that was consistent with Haring’s larger scale work, gallery shows and pop shop. In the conversation, Sarah helps paint a picture of who Keith Haring the person was and the socio-political issues that were close to his heart and at the core of his work. “Keith Haring: Art Is for Everybody” is up now through October 8 at The Broad in downtown Los Angeles.
