111: Creating a Destination Workplace w/ John Mackenzie

For the next four episodes, John Mackenzie joins Amy and Dylan. You may remember John from past episodes; he’s Amy’s business coach, and he still provides coaching services to Lance too.

This week, John offers tips for creating the type of workplace where people will want to be, or as he calls it, “a destination workplace”.  He recommends creating a one-page narrative, with details about your goals, organization, culture, and value statement. He also shares how to create an impactful job description and set employee performance expectations.
