Episode description

In 1906, a small fleet of vessels left New York City on their way to Bermuda to prove to the world that an open ocean race in a yacht under 80’ could be run safely.

Over a century later, a much larger fleet is set to sail toward the start line at the mouth of Narragansett Bay in the 52nd of the Bermuda Race.  It stands as one of the most iconic blue water races and we are excited to be talking with this year’s Race Director Somers Kemp, about what to look forward to in this year’s Thrash to the Onion Patch.
